Disable Sales Order Action Items

Issue:
A user receives an action item each time a Service Order is opened/altered/invoiced. They want to be removed from that notification list.


Resolution:
Those action items are auto-generated and cannot be turned off. Whenever someone other than the primary salesperson makes a change to an order (add item, delete item, etc.), the primary salesperson will receive a notification that there was a change to an Order.
For example:

  • If Joe is the primary salesperson on the order and Joe adds a line item to the order, there is no order change alert message.
  • If Joe is the primary salesperson on the order and Emily adds a line item to the order, Joe gets an alert message that Emily changed his order.
