Routing Number on MICR Checks Includes Letters Instead of Special Characters

Issue:

The routing number on MICR checks is printing letters instead of special characters.

Resolution:

Follow the steps below for terminal servers OR machines with local installs.

  1. Go to C:\Program Files(X86)\Evosus\Evosus Retail\Support Files

  2. Locate file IDAutomationMICR.otf

  3. Leave this window open.

  4. Go to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

  5. Drag file IDAutomationMICR.otf into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.

If using local installs of Evosus, repeat steps 1 - 5 for each computer with a local install that will be printing MICR checks. This only needs to be done ONCE for terminal servers.
